How can I help

Reaching out for counselling can be a difficult decision. If you are unsure of the process, or if you have any questions, you can reach out to me. I offer a free initial appointment over phone. This will be upto 30 minutes. You can then decide if you would like to book sessions. Most people choose weekly sessions, but you can decide your own pace.

I offer counselling in three different mediums.

Face to Face

I offer in-person counselling sessions from The Humber Therapy Centre, in Beeston, Nottingham. It is easily accessible from all major routes going in and out of Nottingham. It has a wheel-chair friendly access, and there is parking available outside. Please contact me to book an appointment before coming, as I do not work from there every day.

Online

I also provide counselling online. This means that I can help you wherever you are in the UK.

Some people prefer online sessions as they might want a counsellor in a different city to them. There is also time-saving in terms of not having to come to the therapy centre.

If you do choose online counselling, I would advise you set aside some time after your session to compose yourself.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Surrounding yourself in nature can be very therapeutic. It can also help our reflective processes. Sitting in front of a therapist and having to make face to face conversations can be difficult for some people. If being out in nature and walking is how you would like your therapy, I am happy to meet you for walk and talk sessions in a park or outside area (local to Nottingham).

Meeting outside would typically be after some face-to-face or online sessions. This will help me get to know you a little better, and to agree to some boundaries. We can then continue therapy in an outdoor location.
